The candidate will be responsible to deliver configuration for products in the Customer Care, Integrated Order Management and Billing systems. He or she will be responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and quality of the configuration delivered following a full SDLC process where time-to-market is critical.</strong>

Responsibilities</strong></td>
</tr>

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts and other IS teams, and vendor in arriving at recommendations for modeling a product.</li>
  • Design, develop and provide technical leadership in the delivery and deployment of product configuration, ensuring timeliness and assured quality.</li>
  • Assist in project planning, technical feasibility study, project scoping, solutioning and effort estimation.</li>
  • Develop, review and execute test plans, test scenarios and test cases for functional testing (FT).</li>
  • Perform impact analysis on reported incidents, deliver fixes (if any) within agreed SLA</li>
  • Perform training  & maintain the Product Configuration documentation</li>
  • To provide guidance to production support teams on the technical perspective of implementation and maintenance of products.</li>
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and make appropriate recommendations to enable productivity gains</li>
  • Provide progress updates and escalate issues on a timely basis</li>

Qualifications</strong></td>
</tr>

  • Minimum a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline from a recognized University.</li>

Experience</strong></td>
</tr>

  • Demonstrated technical leadership skills in deploying complex projects</li>
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience of Product Configuration in Siebel 7.x/8.x CRM, Integrated Order management (IOM) and/or BSCS iX Billing systems.</li>
  • Experience in Unix Shell script; SQL; PL/SQL; Stored Procedures; Triggers; Oracle 9.x and above is mandatory.</li>
  • Weblogic Domain knowledge is an added advantage.</li>
  • Must have gone through at least one full SDLC</li>
  • Working experience in the Info-communications/Telecommunications industry is preferred.</li>
