Job Description:</strong>
Offering valuable content to user is the critical mission of a search engine. However websites often include duplicated content or meaningless information (trash pages), which affect performance of the system.
A web analyst is responsible for investigation of uninformative pages and distinguishing them from valuable contents. He/she leads filtering of trash pages and works with freelancers and developers.
Responsibilities:</strong>
- Propose strategy to filter meaningless pages efficiently;</li>
- Manage small group of freelancers (3-5 people) to provide raw data;</li>
- Make decisions based on freelancers’ reports and his/her own statistics, provide them to developers;</li>
- Interact with developers for data update, automation or other related technical issues.</li>

Requirements:</strong>- Analytical skill;</li>
- Knowledge in core web technologies, such as Http, Html;</li>
- Fluent English;</li>
- Explanation and management skill;</li>
- Experience in regular expressions;</li>
- Basic experience in Unix shell, including tools: Grep, Awk, Cut, Sort.</li>
